Golden Bowl in Sioux Falls

I have been a faithful customer for over 15 years. I have only been disappointed once and that was due to service, not food quality. I can only say praises about our favorite Chinese food restaurant in Sioux Falls. One instance the owner said your ordering a lot of food today pertaining to my take out order, she knows my usual order, I responded your family is cooking for my extended family today. Always a welcoming comfortable place, smiles and excellent food.

My favorite Chinese restaurant of all time, I recommend the sesame chicken.

If you want Chinese in Sioux Falls this is the place! A nice sit down Chinese restaurant with a large menu. Always have great food and service here. The best!!

One of the better Chinese place in Sioux Falls. I've always had great experiences with carry out from there. The shrimp with lobster sauce is my go to.

I have no clue why anyone would give this place less than 5 stars!! Causally dining without waitresses down your throat 24/7. Great range of choices. Happy to always order food from here.

Fast food chinese at sit-down prices. The quality of dishes served are what you would expect to pay $30-40 for at most places to feed 4. I think we paid in the $70 range plus additional tip. For what it is, it is over-priced.

One of best restaurants in town

I have been a consistent customer for years and I’m finally tired of this place. I live a few blocks away and it has always been convenient to grab a bite here. I am absolutely mind blown and the amount of times I’ve called and they simply do not pick up the phone? Incredibly annoying. Front desk lady is always short/ impolite and they never tell me how much my meal costs after I order until I get there which is how I know it’s a rip off. I’ll be finding a new place to eat.

The atmosphere is pleasant and quiet. The menu is full of options. The food is delicious!

My mom ordered the food.......just ok this time. Usually very good tasting food. The soup was great and so were the appetizers but main entree not so much. We will be back.

Ordered a chicken dish that comes with all white meat. First of all, serving contained very little chicken. The chicken that was in it had a mushy taste. Yuck! The only positive was the flavor of dish.... nice and spicy. Husbands Mongolian beef.... almost same experience. Very little beef and beef had weird texture. I will not go back again.

Decent place for a pretty common Chinese food. They have excellent servers who have been there a long time and are happy to switch out ingredients or customize your meal. I really appreciate that. They are always busy but I have quick service. My favorite thing there is the Mushu pork. So if you need a good Chinese meal, check this place out.

They are thieves!! Ordered an order to go via phone at 2:20 pm on Saturday 5/2 told them I would be there about 3. Instead of them telling me that I would have to be there b4 3 they took it upon themselves to make the order for supper instead and charged me almost double what I was expecting to pay. If it hadn't been that it was my grandsons request for his birthday I would have left. Instead I was forced to pay the outrageous price. I Will never go back to be robbed by them again.

Best Chinese Reataurant in this area. Generous helpings and great food....you leave here hungry it’s your own fault....great service...great people.

Very tasty and reasonably priced! Good flavor and texture on the fried rice. The hot tea was just a touch sweet, and not bitter at all. If you don't mind broth that is a little eggy, the sizzling rice soup is delicious, with a nice toasty rice flavor.

We love this place! The owners and staff are so friendly and accommodating. They always make you feel like you're the only one there. The food is amazing and is served fast.

Typical Asian cuisine. Same brown sauce same white sauce. Portions same as other places. Atmosphere same. Nothing really made this place authentic or stand out from the rest.

Golden Bowl is a really unique place as far as Chinese restaurants go. What makes them unique is their consistency. They are always friendly. High quality food is not something you might expect from most American "Chinese" restaurants. If you decide to go, except it here. The spicy sour soup is the best I've eaten. The crab ragnoon is always perfect. It's never overdone, fried under temp, or soggy, or fishy smelling. If I have a cold, the soup and a little Chinese mustard is my go to. The orange chicken is never gummy. That is something I really appreciate. You get a true citrus flavor and just the right amount of spicy. The decor is pretty much what you might expect. That's not why you come here. If you plan on taking the time to sit down for a meal, Golden Bowl is a place you should consider. If you plan on eating Chinese food. This is the ONLY place you should consider.

Honestly the Golden Bowl is my go to Sunday favorite. I love this place. The owners and people that work at the Golden Bowl are really good people and take really good care of their customers. I always have a good time here and the food is always really good. The Golden Bowl is on my must recommend list.

This has been my family's go-to place for Chinese in SF for years. The food is always delicious, and they even accommodate my dad now that he went gluten free. Great prices, too.

The security could be better, I feel someone could wall in, grab things and walk out quickly and it worries me, otherwise great food and service.

The food here is delicious! My parents and I agree that it's our new favorite Chinese restaurant in town. It is a little hidden from the main traffic of Minnesota Ave but not hard to find!

Best traditional Americanized Chinese cuisine in the Sioux Falls area. Super friendly and efficient staff and owners. Never a bad experience over decades of patronage, dine in or carry out.
